"I was calling to cancel my policy due to outrageous increase in premium. Sam picked up and she was very understanding, patient, and polite. She explained things to me and helped me bring my rate down without losing any benefits. I would definitely recommend her as an agent. ***Updates*** In Nov, 2025 i finally switched to a much cheaper company. State farm was not willing to work with me on pricing although I have been with them for over 10 years. They kept jacking the price to $401 a month for two cars. I have no tickets, almost perfect credit, no DUI. The company I switched to is charging i am paying $216 a month including renter’s insurance with more coverage."

"Update 4/6: I recently called and it went straight to Lainie (not an answering service) which kind of startled me. She had my info pulled up and handled my requests quickly. Top notch - if this continues I’ll switch it to 5 stars. Hopefully this is how they work going forward! ———- I pay more for State Farm because I like the way they handle coverage when you need to use it. I’ve been increasingly frustrated by the answering services and the time it takes to get a call back for basic changes. Most companies allow you to adjust or change online but State Farm makes you do much of it with an agent which is slow. Once I finally get help - they are great - esp Jason - but man I wish I could just call them directly since State Farm is a more premium service like AllState or the like."

Our agency utilizes an overflow answering team to ensure that our customers always receive a live answer with no hold time, phone menu or having to leave a voice message if our agents are on another call or currently with a customer. This is unique to our agency, most small businesses without this process would end up sending clients to voicemail, which could delay the response time further. We do this to create a more consistent and committed customer experience with a goal to respond to all inbound calls same day. I’d be happy to call and discuss ideas with you further if you think we can optimize this better."

"This office has been my saving grace with Car Insurance, renters, & life insurance. I had a different company for the past year with problem after problem. Jason’s quick respond time and prompt response to a return customer, was breath of fresh air. Jason is both A staple and an asset to the State Farm Company and should be prided on his work ethic. I was extremely pleased when I called back (frustrated ) State farm as a returning customer that I was able to have Jason assist me as he’s done so many times in the past. I would definitely recommend Mike Bayshore’s office in Rochester Hills and would highly recommend Jason. this is definitely the best office and company that I’ve dealt with for about a decade. It was also pleasant that they actually answer their phones & make sure to still have that human interaction, sometimes in a world with AI people seem to overlook that. For me it makes the experience even better. Thanks to the whole State Farm team!! Definitely 5 stars!!"

"We have been with Mike Bashore State Farm for many years. Client service and care has been top notch. Cannot say enough good about Jason. He has taken such great care with our policies/coverage for home and auto through the years. Sharon has been wonderful to work with also! We recently needed some support for adding an auto and she was so attentive and insured (no pun intended, but that’s funny!), all details and needs were executed. "Been with this office for over 5 years. The customer service has always been top notch. We had our first claim, hit a deer, the car was a total loss. The claim process was fast, smooth and easy.
